All vehicle wrapping will be done in perfect conditions to ensure the best job is done. A clean environment is essential and we have measures in place to create and maintain a clean and minimal dust atmosphere within the workshop. The room temperature is also vital and will be kept between 17 - 24°C to maximise efficiency and guarantee a strong bond is created allowing the wrap to last its full potential. Lighting is also of key importance and therefore we have a well lit workshop.
There are three main phases in the The Wrap Lab wrapping process; design, production and installation. Design will usually take the longest of these processes as it is imperative to create the perfect design before moving forward. The printing of the design is then started, any printed vinyls must be left 48 hours to outgas any solvents before application. All digitally printed vinyls are then laminated for protection. The final process is installation;this varies depending on the size of your vehicle.
3 - 5 day installation process
The vehicle will be fully cleaned without using wax.
All obstacles will be removed from the vehicle (i.e. badges, indicators, number plates etc.).
The vehicle is cleaned again with isopropranol (this helps the glue form a stronger bond).
The wrap is then carefully fitted by a qualified professional.
Once the wrap is fitted it is quality checked to make sure it meets the The Wrap Lab standard.
Types Of Vinyl
There are different options when it comes to choosing what type of vinyl film is best for you. There are three main types of vinyl used in the vehicle wrapping industry. Customers should be aware when receiving quotes as to which vinyl they are being quoted for because the quality of these vinyls can differ substantially.
